It's perfectly understandable that people are scared of their own shadows this week...
...but if I have to read ONE MORE "You people are blind to the truth, man, they're going to fix it in 10 states, it's as good as stolen, game over, man, game over," thread...

...I'm going to :puke: all over my keyboard.

2. It'll be a pukefest. I'll blow chunks too.
Good gawd.... why are so many afraid of victory?

3. This is what I was on about with that post last night.
It is as if people are terrified of winning. Some are grabbing at any defeatist straw they can find. I have to stay away from here quite a bit, or the depressives will bring me down too. Pretty sad, that a Democrat has to avoid fellow Democrats at a time when we have every reason to be celebrating.

4. I still remember '04 - going to bed thinking Kerry had won -
what a horrible day after that was!

While I'm cautiously optimistic and believe that we may very well see a landslide up and down the ticket, there are still nine days left - now is not the time to declare victory...JMHO

5. No, but there is still no reason to be foolishly pessimistic either.
Personally, I never expected Kerry to win, so that didn't bother me nearly as much as 2000. That was the killer.

6. I agree with you on that -
just don't want to count my chicks before they're hatched!

2000 was a nightmare - and sadly, too many people I talk with don't remember anything beyond the "hanging chads"....
