The Iraq War - Proof It Was A Sham
The Sundance Channel just ran an hour program produced by Robert Greenwald, a former CIA Senior Analyst with 20 years experience in that position, that exposed the lies, deceits, and total manipulations of "worst-case scenarios" by the Bush administration, including Bush, Cheney, Rice, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Powell, and Bush's former Press Secretary (showing direct interviews and testimony and SOTU addresses) proving beyond any doubt that everything the Congress, the American public, the U.N., and the entire world was told was knowingly false about its case for Iraq.

In a court of law, this is known as perjury. I am a lawyer, BTW.

John Dean (not Howard Dean - John Dean, of the Watergate era) mentioned that according to a federal statute, it is a felony to mislead Congress about intelligence used for going to war.

I just finished watching it. I haven't checked internet sources. Does anyone have the ability to locate a video or transcript of this amazing documentary?

The entire planet should see/read this amazing documentary. If everyone in this country could see Farenheit 9/11 and this documentary, there wouldn't be more than a handful of Bush war profiteers voting for Bush in November.

1. "Uncovered" has been around for a while now
and yes, it is awesome. Better than "Outfoxed". Don't know how anyone could vote for Bush after seeing that.

5. The problem we have is a cowardly Republican Congress who
rubber stamp anything this criminal administration does. I have forever lost respect for these hypocritical moral relativists who have allowed this country to be hi-jacked by a bunch of corporate criminals.

7. Thank you all for the info!
I didn't realize it was produced in 2003. It seemed pretty current to me, but you're right, I didn't see anything addressing events in 2004.

I'll check the webites posted.

GREAT that it's coming out on DVD. I'm going to tell everyone I know to rent/buy it.

11. Two problems with this analysis....
First, it's a Republican Congress and Congress won't do anything about it. Second, the administration has an out--testimony that George Tenet said the intelligence was a "slam dunk." I.e., they were deceived.

Nothing's going to happen now. Maybe, after Bush and his cronies are ousted, there will be some retribution. But, felony or not, Bush isn't going to prison unless he's prosecuted for it, and Ashcroft is the person to decide that at the moment.

Many people understood this set of facts, well before the prosecution of the war.

Also, for clarification--Robert Greenwald is not a former CIA employee. I think you might be referring to one of the interviewees, Larry Young, or possibly Ray McGovern. Greenwald is the director and producer of the film, but has no government service in the CIA.

It's good you've found this, but it's not "new" news for many here.

BTW, you can get the DVD from:

http://www.buzzflash.com/premiums/uncovered.html

They offer sale of it to support their site.

Cheers.

12. You are off to a good start, but let's return to how things
work in this new world.

Impeachment proceedings + House of Representatives = GOP control
Itel hearings + Senate = GOP control
Perjury charges + Justice Dept. = GOP control
Electronic voting + GOP ownership = GOP control
Media......you get the picture

You see, Seabiscuit, I love your enthusiasm and your movie.

You know the law, no matter how solid your case is, the judge ultimately has the controls.
Whoever owns the judge, controls the outcome.

No way this will swing our way without a total revolution. I am talking everyone must come out to vote.
Don't vote absentee. SHOW UP.
Everyone over 18 registered to vote, carry a sign, and make it known across this country they will not steal this election.

The hundreds of thousands who marched during the GOP convention made it clear, how this needs to be pronounced.

Honestly, I see rioting in the streets.
The world needs to know where the majority of this country stands.

Kerry said there would be lawyers across the country ready for this event. Fasten your seatbelt, we're in for a rocky election. Encourage all your friends and their families how important this election is.
