Former President Bill Clinton will campaign with Senator Barack Obama for the first time on Wednesday at an evening rally in Orlando, a Clinton aide said. Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton will not attend, although she has done numerous events in the Sunshine State on behalf of Mr. Obama in the last month. And in the past week, she appeared with Mr. Obama in this crucial battleground state.

The Clintons have appeared at several rallies on behalf of the Democratic ticket, and appeared jointly with Senator Joseph R. Biden Jr. earlier this month in Scranton, Pa. But Mr. Clinton has not yet shared a stage with Mr. Obama.

4. Is Bill Clinton immensely popular in Florida?
I'm in my 20s, so don't really know how different parts of the country viewed the Clinton presidency. :hi:

5. Not sure how much the Elian Gonzalez thing hurt him
but when he ran for re-election I think he won FL by about 10 points. After losing it to Bush 1.
It will be interesting to see Florida without a Bush on the ballot and without a Bush running the state

7. Why are people blaming Gore and Kerry for not using Bill?
It's wasn't Kerry's fault that Bill had heart surgery that year. Or Gore's fault that Bill got caught.

Thankfully, Obama knows who the real deals are though.

6. This is great news!
Hillary has done a lot of campaigning for Obama, far more than anyone else has ever done for a nominee. I am glad that Big Dog will be with Obama in Florida.
