Government computers used to find information on Joe the Plumber
http://www.columbusdispatch.com/live/content/local_news/stories/2008/10/24/joe.html?sid=101

Information on Wurzelbacher was accessed by accounts assigned to the office of Ohio Attorney General Nancy H. Rogers, the Cuyahoga County Child Support Enforcement Agency and the Toledo Police Department.

It has not been determined who checked on Wurzelbacher, or why. Direct access to driver's license and vehicle registration information from BMV computers is restricted to legitimate law enforcement and government business.

I wonder if this was another mccain worker trying to set up the Obama team?
Either way, I sure don't want my name being spied upon. FISA anyone?

1. It could be anybody. It's amazing what we can find on people just on the internet.

3. Right, but Gov computers have so much better access to better records
If one were a curious soul and had access to such computer links, they could make a big mess before they got caught.

4. I thought that's what
the whole Patriot Act was about - being able to check out anyone at anytime. :sarcasm:

Joe the Plumber is such a huge supporter of McCain and the neocons I can't imagine why he would complain. Afterall he has nothing to hide so why should he be afraid?
