Rally in Denver on Sunday 10/26
I'm hoping to make it to Barack's rally at Civic Center Park in Denver on Sunday. The newspaper article says, "no bags". Does anyone know if this includes camera bags?

2. Rachel Maddow mentioned McCain's enthusiastic rally of 4000 in CO today--just
wait until she gets a look at the crowd Obama will draw in Denver on Sunday.

11. Yes she did. She was "spinning" it like it was good news for McCain.
I wonder about her sometimes.

If McCain can't get 4000 people in a major US city then he has major problems. I'm not sure what Rachel is thinking. It's like she's wishing for a McCain win so she can prove that she was right.

13. No. She wasn't. Rachel and her quest were talking like McCain has had some good news lately, and..
the rally in Denver was one of those things. She wasn't being facetious.

4. They always say no bags, but I don't think they really care.
I think they just mean no large bags. Purses and small bags are probably OK.

8. They always say no bags. They will still let you in but they will search your bag.
At least that has been my experience.

14. What they usually mean is no bags they can't see through
In the NYC area they have "no bag" rules at a lot of events like Yankee, Shea and Giants Stadium events but provide clear plastic bags at the stadium for you to switch your sandwich, camera, etc. They don't want any objects they cannot see the contents of inside any enclosed areas.
