So Republicans are saying the market crashed BECAUSE of fears of an Obama presidency...

...but they're also saying Obama was down in the polls UNTIL the market crashed and he took advantage of everyone's fears.

They do realize, don't they, that both scenarios can't be correct. If McCain had the momentum before the crash, and the market was scared of Obama, McCain would be winning right now.

I'm going to vote for NEITHER. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Just like some of them believe the fundamental reason behind the economic crisis was the Community Reinvestment Act. Despite the fact that the CRA did not cover nearly all of the institutions involved in the subprime lending, and that the home foreclosures themselves have not had nearly the same economic impact of the credit default swap market, they will continue to blame the CRA because they would rather blame poor minorities for their problems.
