Way to go, George. It's just one more reason why you've already gone down in history as the absolute worst president ever. Thanks to you, you fucking imbecile, other brainless morons now think it's okay if they run for one of the two highest offices in the land.

While our minds are currently on winning this election, we'll never forget what a worthless bum you are.

2. He's only partly to blame.
What about the role the American people play in all this?
Even us progressives.

3. I don't understand how we can say that Palin isn't qualified...
to be Prez. Bush has so lowered the bar that any blithering knuckle-dragger thinks he/SHE can hold the position. But I think we DESPERATELY need more than just a place-holder at the critical time in our history.

4. I'd give some credit to Reagan as well
But we've had dumb Presidents before in US History. Harding was pretty dumb too.

7. Ahh, Reagan. He opened the door for dumb, old, & forgetful
No doubt why McCain takes inspiration in him.

8. That's exactly right
Its the belief that politicians aren't going to do anything for most people anyway. Nothing will change so why not at least indulge one's resentments and give a big middle finger to people who one doesn't like or people that are portrayed as thinking they are superior. Vote for some idiot who promises nothing beyond symboolically knocking "them" down a peg.

9. The real dummies are the American people.
* and Palin aren't brilliant, but they sure as hell aren't as dumb as they appear to some of us. Part of it's an act for the rubes.

If you're looking for stupid, though, you'll find most of it in the voters who take them seriously.
