I don't know if this is considered to be an October surprise or not, but it is a 5 minute video. It's the infamous French interview we have heard about.

Personally, I think the campaign made sure this one leaked out.

7. I don't know why McCain keeps using this POW thing,looks like

he always saying 'look at me,vote for me because I suffered for the country.'

Everyday his campaign makes him or Palin remind people of this,in words like 'have scars to prove it'

The vast majority people already know about it and seem to want to tell McCain that you need more than 'I was a POW so reward me' to convince them. People are appreciative and grateful for his service,but McCain seems to be over using it.

4. There was a story the telegraph ( I think) ran

The wife of the film maker is pissed. She owns the footage as the film maker has passed on. This was not authorized for release and her lawyers were also in touch with the mccain campaign demanding they pull some of the footage from one of the ads.

Make them prove he ever served his country!

Of course we're not like them, but think how much fun it would be if we too could just post random made-up crap about our opponent and have everyone believe it instantly and unquestioningly! But no, we don't get to have that fun, because we tell the truth. What a drag.
