I want a landslide. And I'm not talking 5% points, I'm talking 10%+ and 370+ electoral votes. I realize the election is far from over, and there they're trying to steal it so I'm not conceding anything.....but I'M GREEDY!!

5. I don't want to just defeat the Republcians.
Edited on Wed Oct-22-08 12:05 PM by backscatter712
I want to crush them, see them driven before me, hear the lamentations of their women.

I want to press my boots into their necks.

I want to drive them into the ground.

I want to utterly annihilate them, then salt the earth on which they stood.

I want to destroy them in every way it is possible for them to be destroyed.

6. Sure, I'll take a landslide!
I think the nation needs to resoundingly reject the kind of government (attitudes and ideology) that we've seen coming from Washington these past eight years. This means a major increase in Democratic presence there, and a warning to all--from both sides--that business as usual will not be tolerated.

8. A landlside is what is needed. I wont be happy with anything less
If wegt a landlinde we get a realigning electgion that we have not seen since 1980 and befor that since 1932. Given the issues oversas,, the economy and domestics issues like healthcare and eductaion and scotus.....We we need to significantly braoden the coalition to restore confidenece and get thing doen, 280 electoral votes means four more years of nothing signigicant being accomplished.

9. An overwhelming landslide is needed to drive the thug party into oblivion. Allowing them to
continue to exist in any form is detrimental to the nation and the planet.

12. I actually think winning by a large margin is really important this time out.
Bush and the Republicans need not just to be defeated, they need to be defeated by such a margin that it constitutes a total repudiation of the entire GOP agenda and of everything that's happened in the last eight years. A blowout loss to a relatively unknown, minority candidate whose middle name is "Hussein" and who has openly opposed the war from the outset will send a very strong message that the era of the "Permanent Republican Majority" is over, and nobody wants it back, or anything like it.
