I think they lied to her about what a VP does! :)

Doggonit if only she hadn't lost her copy of the Constitution she could have looked it up.

I knew you wouldn't flame me!

4. I think so too, or they promised her the same kind of power Cheney has and she does not know that
it is from executive order

Someone should have told her to keep quiet about it

10. I think her skull is just thick as a brick and she is intellectually lazy.
You would think she would make damned sure she knew what her constitutional responsibilites were, right at the get-go. If she CARED to know, she would know. I think it is complere and utter intellectual inertia... she doesn't seem to know much about much... if she were curious, if she wanted to know (what her job was) she would. Such public ignorance is... embarrassing.

5. I carry my copy of the constitution everywhere
I've given a copy to each family member.

and yes, they no doubt told her it was a gravy job with perks, and high potential for advancement that required little more from her than a nod and a wink.

8. Actually, I'm surprised people don't bring this up, she's parroting what Cheney has said for 8 years
The Cheney office has consistently said that the VP's office is NOT part of the Executive Branch. In Court papers they have identified their office with being a part of the Senate leadership and not subject to Executive Branch laws.
