K-E must stand for getting integrity back into the political process!
Also NO political historian and/or scholar supports a straight party U.S. Administration and Congressional government, either Rep or Dem. Throughout history, this situation has always proven bad as to policy making, and as an environment for much abuse of power.

Frankly, in our present extremely dangerous and corrupt political and World environment, any SMART Republican or Independent should vote for the Democratic Presidential candidate even if it is Bozo the Clown,...much less a very fine ticket like Kerry-Edwards!

1. That's a nice talking point that probably carries some
weight with middle of the roaders.

2. Except for died-in-the-wool activists, I think most Americans
have felt that way -- at least historically. Not so sure now since the country has become so sharply divided.

I'd be curious to know, GOPA, what you think the prospects are for Dem majorities in either the House or Senate? (Make generous allowance for vote manipulation --- sigh)

Will there be any coattails to the Repub movement to "Dump Bush?"

3. YES MANY REP. CONGRESS PEOPLE VERY WORRIED
because their home voting based is turning against Bush-Cheney's policies. This is why you will continue to see more Republican Congress people break ranks and speak out against Bush-Cheney in order to save their own election/re-election hide.

It is already happening except for that IDIOT John McCain, that Bush is promising Colin Powell's Sec of State job to, when Powell leaves after November election. I am surprised the number of people that say no way Bush offered this to McCain.

First, he did, and secondly, McCain was a great soldier, but more importantly comes from one of the most decorated military families in U.S. History. Hell there is battleships and destroyers named off the McCain family that are buried in Arlington National Cemetery! Both McCain’s father and grandfather were two of the greatest 4 Star Admirals ever, and the first family in history for this to happen. McCain's cousin, was a Brigadier General in the United States Army.

Presently it’s too early to determine which way the House or Senate will go. Obviously, Kerry must have 1/2 of Congress or he has the same lame duck problems like Clinton did AND the GOP will spend all their time trying to destroy him with special committee hearings, blah, blah,
