Racism: The last refuge of Limbaugh

For those who haven't yet heard Limbaugh's rantings today, he stated that Colin Powell backed Obama for the sole reason that they are both black.

I have no idea whether he was sitting there wearing a white sheet, a hood and watching a burning cross when he spouted this filth into his microphone. But spout it he did. And in doing so, he revealed his basic character along with the nature of the millions of dittoheads who listen to him daily and worship him.

George W. is no longer the leading "voice" of the Republican Party. John McCain is not the "voice" of the Republican Party and never will be. But after today, we know that the true voice of the Republican Party is Rush Limbaugh -- a man who represents intolerance, ignorance, bile, and pure hatred.

Germany long ago outlawed the Nazi Party. Today's Republican Party is nowhere nearly as evil as were the Nazis. But how about if we outlaw them before they ever again get the chance to advance their agenda any further?
