Why does electoral-vote.com refuse to "count" PPP polls?

Why does electoral-vote.com refuse to "count" PPP polls?
PPP polls are not counted in his color maps.

One might say it's because it's a partisan Democratic pollster, and I would accept that logic, but he does count polls done by Strategic Vision, which is a Republican pollster.

...to electoral-vote.com? I thought he just arbitrarily picks a recent poll for each state. Isn't fivethirtyeight.com much better?

2. Look at the Electoral-vote.com page on the day before the election in 2004...
That's a good enough reason why we shouldn't pay them too much attention. If I remember correctly, not only did they have Kerry ahead, they had Montana as solid blue...

3. we have no idea if fivethirtyeight.com is better
This is the 1st election for fivethirtyeight.com, on Nov 4th-5th we will know if fivethirtyeight.com is better
