McCain Counters Powell Endorsement With Soap Opera Actress

As Colin Powell's endorsement of Obama makes headlines worldwide, John McCain counters with a nod of his own an hour later, blasted out to reporters:

MEXICAN-AMERICAN ACTRESS KATIE BARBERI ENDORSES JOHN MCCAIN

"The American people need a strong leader who has the experience and the judgment to be the next President of the United States, and that man is John McCain." -- Katie Barberi

TALLAHASSEE, FL -- The McCain-Palin campaign today announced the endorsement of Mexican-American actress Katie Barberi.

"As a Hispanic-American, I understand how important this election is for Hispanics," said Katie Barberi, a Telenovela actress currently on Telemundo's Dona Barbara. "We need a leader who can lower taxes, protect small businesses, and increase job creation nationwide. I have no doubt that John McCain appreciates the important role Hispanics play not only in the economy, but in our nation's culture as well -- he has a track record with Hispanics for more than 20 years as a senator from Arizona. The American people need a strong leader who has the experience and the judgment to be the next President of the United States, and that man is John McCain."

Barberi is out campaigning with Joe Lieberman in Florida today.

13. He's been speaking in Bob Dole today
I posted a thread earlier in which he said "Don't worry about John McCain loses the election, because John McCain's going to be busy working on not feeling sorry for himself."

14. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA This could very well cripple the Obama camp!!!!1one!!11
This endorsement could very well put to shame Colin Powell's endorsement for Obama. I mean some no name actress I had not heard about until I read this thread endorses the McCain campaign.........Obama should be shaking in his boots!!! :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm:

Seriously though, this endorsement along with the McCain Campaign is nothing but a joke, if he thinks just because some Hispanic actress endorses him that all of a sudden he will get the Hispanic vote this election then hes got another thing coming.
