I believe Obama will win here in NC by 3-4% and that Kay will beat Dole by 5-8% but I am worried that Perdue will lose and NC will have a repub Governor. We have not had one for 20 years but I am still concerned.If she wins it may be from Barack and kay pulling her across the finish line. :(

6. My friend, an eastern NC native and from what I can tell Blue Dog Dem,

thinks that the Dem machine will never let the Governor seat go GOP - imagine having to watch McCrory's "difference is leadership" smug jaw clench every news event? (have to say that Bev doesn't blow me away with her eloquence, either...she is not a very good public speaker).

We live in SC, just south of the border. Our news comes out of Charlotte, but I don't pay a lot of attention to the local-to-Charlotte stuff.
