Wesley Clark should follow up Powell
I'm sure he's endorsed Obama already, but he should make a statement or write a column. Back to back four star generals eliminate a lot of smear labels.

1. Clark's been a consistent advocate for progressive causes and Democratic candidates...
he does not operate in reference to Powell.

3. I think he would do it if asked
It doesn't have to be in reference to Powell, it's endorsement season.

4. Yes, he would. His appearance at the convention kind of did that.

7. I get his WesPAC emails - he's got an array of candidates for
the House and Senate for whom he's out there beating the drums.

13. Oh good grief - get the facts and get over this
Clark was not sloppy, he was spun and so many on the Dem side of the aisle fell hook, line and sinker for it.

We know he supports and endorses Obama. Powell, though, was an unknown which is why he wanted to make it public. This is good. It doesn't matter that there are many who don't like Powell no matter what; his endorsement DOES mean something to many people. It's good to have someone who is well respected by many Americans on Obama's side.

whose opinions carry a lot of weight with Clinton Democrats. I think a very public statement by Wes Clark would be very good timing.

12. Clark endorsed Obama fairly soon after the Primary. He's been working Florida recently.
Short of getting an Obama Tat on his ass, I'm not sure how much more Clark can be expected to DO in this election. Just sayin... Laura
