McCains' old house is being auctioned off
A modest house in Phoenix, Az., once occupied by John and Cindy McCain, is being auctioned off.

It has only 15,000 square feet, 13 bedrooms, and 14.5 bathrooms.

The lot is only 2.7 acres.

The garage is limited to seven cars.

Obviously this house wouldn't meet the McCains' present needs, but they were once quite comfortable in it.

2. Right.
A Saudi prince would feel right at home in warm, sunny Phoenix.

3. My dear Lionel Mandrake!
Yup, they're auctioning it off...

They must need the money, right?

And besides, they have illusions of moving into a much grander House!

Like that has any chance of happening...:eyes:

5. A grander House? You don't mean ...
one that is painted white?

That would be yet another nightmare for the USA.

4. DAMNIT. I'd have to sell at least 10 cars to be able to fit there. Simply not enough room.

7. You could keep the other 10 cars at a remote location
and send the chauffeur to fetch whichever car you want to drive on a particular day.

But that would be such a nuisance!

6. I've driven by that house many times and
at least from the road it doesn't look that impressive.
You wouldn't know all that stuff was back there.

10. Inconspicuous Consumption?
Some rich folks like to keep a low profile.

They must have made him stand on an orange crate for that photo. He is NOT that taller than her.

In fact that whole picture of his body looks photoshopped. Who is that really? The head looks too small for the shoulders and arms.

11. The leather jacket is a prop
to make his shoulders look wider than they really are. It also goes with the fly-boy image.

The saddle is to remind you that he's a maverick. You know, like a cowboy.

I don't think the picture is photoshopped. It tries to deceive you the old-fashioned way.

Rather clumsily, I might add.

12. How many symbols are there in the picture?
That picture was carefully composed. Practically everything you see has a purpose.
