Obama Has Grabbed The News Cycle!
Palin's appearance on SNL is not condusive to being played on news shows. They dissed her hard and the only way for any clips to be funny is to show it in conext, which includes them ripping on her.

Obama announces he raised $150,000,000 in September and has over 3 million donors.

BAM, huge news.

Colin Powell endorses Obama.

Right now, that's all the talking heads are talking about, and will talk about for days to come.

Watch the polls. Come Wednesday, if I don't miss my guess, undecideds will be coming to Obama.

3. DAMN STRAIGHT! The whole "Palin...isn't she cute on SNL...she's so human" meme is destroyed!!
They were sooooo hoping that Palin's rehabilitation would be the news cycle for a good portion of this week. Tough shit, Grampy and Mrs. Nazi! You just got schooled on media message domination!

4. Please, please, tell me what Brokaw's reaction was to this news. I
was at Mass praying for all of us. I really dislike Brokaw and hope he was shocked and ticked off at this news....Thank you.

5. Ha ha! I totally agree!
This stuff will control the news cycle for the next 2 - 3 days; and along with the huge rallies, this will give Obama a bump in the polls.

Let's keep working, y'all! We're almost there!

8. Yup, and a "National Security Event" at this time would see no McCain advantage
So if they have some national security crap up their sleeve to drop the last week, it would actually work in Obama's favor now. He's demonstrated the steady leadership instead of erratic lurching from position to position.
