... Makes me wonder if they're trying to offset something in the news ... like the Powell appearance on MTP. Maybe this means they know it's an endorsement of McCain. :( Mind you, I don't see a Powell endorsement of McCain doing much for the Repugs. Most would expect Powell to endorse McCain, a fellow fascist Bush bootlicker. Still I would always prefer an Obama endorsement since it would be more surprising, so I hope I'm wrong. If you go to OpenSecrets.org, McCain's campaign has been less open in their disclosure of campaign funds than Obama's. Here are the numbers through August:

McCain has $55 million that is either from PACs ($1.3 million) or "other" sources. This represents 23% of his fundraising.
Obama has $27 million that is either from PACs (just $450...LOL) or "other" sources. This represents just 6% of his total fundraising.

It's pretty clear which one is being more honest with the public on the issue of fundraising. Plus don't forget McCain has the RNC spending huge amounts of money for him and who knows where they get their money from as well.
