4. Those kids look absolutely inspired...It is wonderful!!!!
I never knew that Kansas city had something built by Trump...Isn't he the only one who builds phallic symbols everywhere he goes?

15. The Liberty Memorial was built
in the 1920's.

A recently renovated World War I Museum opened several years ago, and is well worth a visit to Kansas City. Here's a link to their website: http://www.theworldwar.org/s/110/index.aspx

5. The look on that kid in the fourth picture says so much
especially to an old guy like me who lived during the early civil rights era.
Let me add - GOOD GOD WHAT A CROWD!

11. I have found myself crying from time to time when I consider just
how truly incredible Obama's election will be. My memories of the ugliness of the 50s and 60s and 70s etc are not too kind. The thought that anyone with a tinge of black skin would have a real shot at the presidency in the USA was never considered to be a serious thought by me.
And one thing that is coming out now is how much of a journey there is still ahead to equality.

9. Those Kids! You can see the HOPE, You can see the DREAMS!
in their eyes! I'm well over 50 and folks, that is how I feel about Obama and all that he represents for me, for so many people!!! The last 8 years, I had lost my hope, my dreams, not only for me, but pride of my country.... I am getting my hopes and dreams back and those KIDS are representing not only their hopes/dreams but so many of us!!!!

WOW!!!! The captured photo of Obama having down time, talking on the phone, is priceless.
Again, SHOULDER TO SHOULDER PEOPLE!!!!!!! YAHOOOO!!!!!!

Edited on Sat Oct-18-08 08:32 PM by ikojo
at the Obama rally in St Louis today. So, since the corporate media is so quick to under estimate crowds, I suspect there were a little bit more than 100k. All I know is there was a sea of people, strangers stopping strangers just to shake their hand. Black, white, Jew, Muslim, Gentile and everything in between together as one.

John McSame will be in primarily white St Charles on Monday. I suspect his crowd wont be as large nor will it look like America.

Obama's rally LOOKED LIKE AMERICA IN ALL OF ITS BEAUTIFUL HUE.

Did St Louis make us proud or what?!!!
