Swing State Project has these numbers in CD 2. The trendlines are from July.

Anzalone Liszt (10/13-15):

Jim Esch (D): 46 (40)
Lee Terry (R-inc): 47 (50)
Undecided: 7 (9)
(MoE: ±4.9%)

Barack Obama: 44 (42)
John McCain: 48 (46)
Undecided: 8 (12)

The crosstabs are available at Swing State Project.

1. Hmm…Obama and McCain’s numbers are still four points in difference, but Esch and Terry’s difference has changed by nine points. Why? Apparently, Jim Esch has been doing quite well, as he’s gained six and Terry’s lost three. I don’t know about Obama winning the 2nd district-I hope he does-but Jim Esch is a great candidate, a moderate Democrat. Pro-life, anti-war, anti-social security privatization, pro-civil unions, pro-guns, anti-stem cell research. A democrat with some good conservative and Catholic values. You can’t be too liberal.
