ET: Showed Pic of McCain at the Debates with his tongue out! LOL!

Entertainment Tonight just did a report on Joe the Plumber. Reported that his first name was Samuel, and that he didn't have a license. They spoke with him, compared him to the undecided voter in that movie that was out about six months ago.....and showed him with his son. They also showed documents of the two liens he has, and the fact that he has been married twice.

As for reporting on the Debates, they showed the comparison between the two candidates in body language; reported that Obama was able to flash smiles and be relaxed while being attacked contrasted to McCain rolling his eyes and sighing (they showed footage; Smiling Barack and sighing McCain without audio).

What's the audience share for Entertainment Tonight? Quite a few, I think!

The the funniest part was the very end, when they showed the below pic!
On the television screen, the photo was giant and you could see the moistness of his tongue.
It was, in truth, shocking! Made him look like such a loser! :rofl:

TMZ web sites. Don't make excuses for going there, I get bored and look at the pretty pictures there. :7

But the point is that a lot of people who are not political will go to these gossip sites, and there those pictures are with mccain in all his glory.

9. while I have loved the photoshop thread

I have to say I'm surprised that any media except our beloved comedy shows, KO and RM would touch this picture. It truly was a "gotcha media" moment-- he was goofing about misstepping his way around the tables and that grimace included the lovely tongue shot.

It could have been Obama just as easily.

Don't get me wrong, I love, love, love all the comedy in it--I have laughed myself silly over the photoshop thread (Gene Simmons mockup will haunt me forever). It's just weird to me that any national show with no stated or less overt bias would show it.

This photo is not photo shopped and it is news. It is a man who is running for president acting bizarre. How many channels and shows showed Dean's scream in 2004. Why would this be less newsworthy just because he is a republican? In fact it should be more news worthy because this is more bizarre than the Dean episode.
