Looks like we will FINALLY have the chance to attend one.

We will have two infants and an 8 year old in tow and will need to have their basics on hand. We thought we'd take them in their stroller, which holds their car seats, like this one:

http://www.amazon.com/Baby-Trend-Double-SnapNGo-Navy/dp/B0000C2TNH

We would also need the various baby necessities.

I would also need my portable nebulizer and injectible epinephrine (I carry both due to asthma and severe allergies) on hand.

Also, DH would like to bring his camera, a Digital Rebel with 8" zoom lens.

Can someone tell me what is and is not allowed?

Also, the gates open at 4 and we want to get as close as possible. How long before 4 should we be there?

Thanks!

1. I think your best bet would be to call/email the campain HQ
AND the venue where the event is being held.

If you can't get through to the campaign HQ, definitely call the venue or sponsor (if there is one). I did that at an event here he Seattle (not Obama related) but I did get my questioned answered as to what I could bring, whether I could take pictures, etc.

Hopefully, someone else on the board will know the answers better than I do.

2. Thank you!
I will try to find out who to reach and hopefully they'll be able to tell me.

I can't believe it! It looks like this Okie will have a chance to see him after all!

4. I went to the one in Asheville two weeks ago.
You can't take glass bottles in. Plastic water bottles are okay. It's pretty much like getting on an airplane. Empty your pockets to go through metal detectors. Cameras are fine. We didn't take a case because that takes extra time to check. They didn't have nearly enough metal detectors here. A lot of people didn't get in just because of the time factor. The secret service isn't exactly patient either. I must have deleted my email that had all the information. I think when you rsvp on the website they send you the information.
