3. Are you sure you got this right?
I checked the Amazon.com site about this book, and from what I gather there her book is a poorly researched screed blaming labor unions for all of America's problems.

5. Could it have been Linda Chavez-Thompson you saw?
She's an official of the AFL-CIO. It's easy to get them confused because they practically have the same name and both have a history with labor except on totally opposite sides of the fence.
