WTF is Shuster pushing this Jesse Jackson bullshit?
Edited on Wed Oct-15-08 03:50 PM by redstate_democrat
Why the hell is Shuster so concerned about what some other black man is saying about another black man's thoughts?

Jesse Jackson doesn't know what the fuck he is talking about.

One minute people are saying Obama is TOO zionist (saying Israel's capital should be Jerusalem) and another minute they say he hates Israel. I wish these motherfuckers would make up their minds.

Obama wil be fair with Israel. Of COURSE he won't subordinate American foreign policy to ANY other nation. That's what being the fucking president means. He's not the president of Israel. Of course Israel is our strongest ally in the region, so that means we have responsibilities towards Israel's safety.

I wish these cocksuckers would get some new material.

1. Because it will push the redneck vote toward Obama?
It might. If Jackson is agin' him, then maybe he's not such a scary black dude after all...

2. Israel is IN the Democratic Party Platform
Edited on Wed Oct-15-08 03:52 PM by crankychatter
This is the far right, misinterpreting or even falsely re-stating something from Jackson, and making an issue of it to sow division... period

These guys like Shuster get talking points and keywords they are REQUIRED to use, X times per broadcast, per day

8. He's okay most of the time, but it's clear Jesse Jackson has shaken his confidence in some respect
He needs to get the fuck over it. Jesse Jackson doesn't know what the fuck he is talking about right now. He's speaking for himself or projecting what HE would do as president onto Obama.

Jesse Jackson could also be trying to sabotage Obama, too. Who knows with that man.

7. Partial campaign statement and links
"Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr. is not an adviser to the Obama campaign and is therefore in no position to interpret or share Barack Obama's views on Israel and foreign policy. As he has made clear throughout his career and throughout this campaign, Barack Obama has a fundamental commitment to a strong U.S.-Israel relationship, and he is advised by people like Dennis Ross, Daniel Kurtzer, Rep. Robert Wexler, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, and Senator Joe Biden who share that commitment. As President, he will ensure that Israel can defend itself from every threat it faces, stand with Israel in its quest for a secure peace with its neighbors, and use all elements of American power to end Iran's illicit nuclear program. No false charges can change Barack Obama's unshakeable commitment to Israel's security," said Wendy Morigi, national security spokesperson.
