McCain/Palin have utterly failed to prove any nefarious connections between Ayers and Obama, most people don't really believe that Obama "palls around with terrorists" as Palin accuses him of, and, most importantly, by raising questions about Obama's connection to Ayers, they are implicitly raising questions about several REPUBLICANS (some of whom are even McCain SUPPORTERS) whom have either worked with Ayers or have FUNDED Ayers in the past and whom saw nothing inappropriate, unethical, or illegal about working with him. If he's going to attack Obama tonight, he'll have to think of better angle. Pushing the Ayers smear has been an epic fail (if not catastrophe) for McCain/Palin.
