W. the movie being released this Friday

I'm going to see it because I have a feeling that it will not be a comedy in it's entirety. my hypothesis is that Mr. Stone will attempt to show the country how much the office demands of a person , and in turn demands a strong person (who is prepared) to lead. I think he is going to show while Bush a tragic figure to some is still a human being who just might have been a "good character in bad company". I could be wrong, probably am.

What influence on the election do you think the movie will have, if any?

1. Bush is NOT a good man.

I don't think the movie will have any impact on the election. I'm also not sure I am going to see it. I am in no mood to laugh at W while we are still in this national nightmare.

3. I doubt it effects the election at all.
I can't wait to see it though. Supposedly, it is gonna have an analogy to King Henry the IV (H.W.) and the V (W).

9. Not pro-Bush, but people shouldn't go into this expecting Bush to be painted as evil.

The movie paints him as a troubled man trying to do what he believes is right. This movie will portray Bush as dumb, ego driven and human.

It'll make you pity him more than hate him, probably.

Does that make it pro-Bush, though?

12. yes, however

myself and many others will enjoy getting lost in someone else's trip into examining what has happened to our country - a perfect example of where we don't want to go in the Nov. election

13. It won't have any effect
I think it will be a weird movie to see. The people are still in office so the actors who are made to look like the real people come off strangely. It almost seems like a SNL skit. Maybe that's what it was meant to be but it doesn't look very interesting to me.

14. Will it show shrub blowing up frogs?
"GEORGE W. BUSH BLEW UP FROGS"
MIDLAND, Texas ANIMAL PEOPLE, July/August 2000

An alert for American voters and humane educators everywhere appeared on May 21 in the 61st through 64th paragraphs of a 76-paragraph NEW YORK TIMES feature on the childhood of Republican candidate for U.S. president George W. Bush -- if anyone noticed.

One of the local rituals for children, reported Nicholas D. Kristof of Life in Midland, Texas, when George W. was a boy, were meetings with cookies and milk at the home of a nice old lady who represented the SPCA. The cookies were digested more thoroughly than the teachings.

`We were terrible to animals,' recalled Throckmorton, laughing. A dip behind the Bush borne turned into a small lake after a good rain, and thousands of frogs would come out. `Everybody would get BB guns and shoot them,' Throckmorton said. `Or we'd put firecrackers in the frogs and throw them and blow them up.'
