"Don't Palin me, Kiddo..."
Last night my husband and I were finishing up dinner when we heard a crash in the family room. We walk in and see our 3 year old surrounded by all of the toys that were once on her toy-shelf, now laying on the floor (and she knows she's only suppose to play with one toy at a time).

My husband asked her "What happened"? And my 3 year old replied: "He did it..." and pointed at our 3 month old son who was still sitting happily in his baby swing, and who is not yet rolling over, let alone pulling toys off of shelves".

At this point my husband looks at our 3 year old and says "Don't Palin me kiddo... I know your brother had nothing to do with this." My daughter then replies "I'm sorry daddy... the toys just fell when I was reaching for the puzzle".

The fact that my 3 year old didn't even hesitate when the word "Palin" was substituted for "Lie to" cracked me up.

So, from now on when someone looks you dead in the eye and lies straight to your face.. they're "Palining you"... not to be confused with "Playin' you".. which is a close cousin. :)

When you're a Vice Presidential candidate.. only 2 months on the scene, and your name is synonymous with LIE... perhaps you have a problem. A BIG problem.

Palin is the new "Munson."

Fans of "Kingpin" you know what I'm talking about.

2. Hah! Too funny.
Although, you know, the "oh I'm just a helpless little newborn who can't roll over or even hold his head up by himself!" might be a big act that your devious three-month old is pulling over on you. For all you know, he's having secret middle-of-the-night poker parties with his baby cohorts.

3. My husband thinks he's secretly "Stewie" from the Family Guy..
and every time we don't get a bottle into his mouth 3 seconds after he starts squaking.. he's cursing us out in some wierd baby-moon language, and is plotting to take over the world.

I've told my husband that he needs to stop watching so much Family Guy. ;)

4. I don't know. You're husband might be on to something.
Babies. Can they be trusted? On the next "Maury."
