The elephant in the room
isn't Iraq. It's the Supreme Court.

1. A future Supreme Court with 7 or 8 right wing extremists
scares me as much as another Bush oil war. That's what another 4 years of the Chimp would mean and why we must do everything we can to get Kerry elected. That frightening snapshot of a future Supreme Court should be the argument continuously made to Naderites in the hopes that Nader will endorse Kerry before this is over. In fact, Kerry should be telling the American people that there is something very unhealthy in having every branch of government dominated by the extreme wing of one party. The United States government functions best with checks and balances and diverse interests represented.

2. It's a chilling thought I'm not hearing about anywhere
I'm unsure about using it on the Naderites though. If it were a real concern for them, why wouldn't Nader exploit that at the top of his list of why he's running?

I really believe that the extreme RW fundies backing Bush are fully aware of the Supreme Court impact. There was an interview with a delegate after his speech where the reporter asked what did she most want to hear from him and did he talk about it. She went on to say her number one issue is the life of the unborn (the newest term that is now mainstream). She "knows" that Bush will take care to protect them because he is a man of faith, so she's not worried that he didn't highlight it.

Of course, she also knows that it is radically worded as part of the party platform which the Bush administration signed off on.

I'd love to see a commercial somehow incorporating the 1,000,000+ women who marched on Washington this summer. Highlight that whether you agree or disagree, you, your daughters, your sisters, your friends and neighbors have choices. Then state, with another 4 years, those choices could very well be taken away.

Just my 2cents.
