1. Maybe we should all be
bombarding Terry McAulif with e-mails not just CNN. The DNC has got to get it's act together. Kerry needs the party to get it's act together and fast.

3. I agree
The Republicans don't have the vaguest idea how to deal with terrorism. All they know is greed and exploitation. That's what leads to terrorism.

John Kerry knows how to handle terrorism. He's intelligent and he's a combat veteran. He'll choose good people instead of chicken hawks to advise him, and he'll listen to the Pentagon.

Bush has done a terrible job protecting us from terrorism. Look at the disasters that have happened on his watch! Republicans can't handle terrorism.

4. Trying to start at home
The coordination of the republicans is definitely killing us, but remember they have the press to constantly and subliminally repeat their one line attacks on Kerry. We're not that lucky. I've been actively participating in all local Democratic committees to try to organize the "same voice". Honestly so far, I'm totally discouraged because everyone, including myself, has their own agenda and can barely concentrate on even starting to come off own own individual outrage with Bush. All we can do is keep trying, without the big money corporations bringing in the professionals to do it big for us. (How much money was spent on Bush's backdrop and all the subliminal messages behind his speech of further empty promises?)

Last night, before Bush's speech, I sent out this email to all my democratic contacts still fuming from the Miller/Cheney speeches. If the democrats constantly repeat these simple one liners, maybe the simple minded Freeper might stop for a minute and actually think. I don't write or speak as well as many at DU, but the response I've gotten are insightful and encouraging.

To My Democrat Friends:

Isn't it high time we call a spade a spade? Last night was appalling and I wish all democrats would stop holding back. We owe these Republicans absolutely no more courtesies. Remember, a lot of Republicans are simple minded and don't want to bother themselves with too many facts. So speak it out and keep it simple.

Bush & his merry men are liars!
They are stealing from us and illegally profiting for themselves and their rich friends.
They sent our troops off to war, based on a lie, without any plan for the peace, leaving them as sitting ducks.
They will institute the draft if they get re-elected.
They are quickly eliminating the middle class.
They do all their business behind closed doors.
They never answer to anyone
There have more investigations regarding their questionable actions (successfully put off till after the election)
They are taking our liberties away from us and trashing the Constitution
They promote hatred
They think all of us are stupid and don't see what they're doing.
They are evil and corrupt to the core.

I hope everyone corrects these twisted attacks on Kerry the minute they hear it. Kerry is not a flip flop and never was. We need to call them on it as soon as they say it. Kerry vetoed a 83 billion dollar bill for the troop's supplies when it was changed from the rich paying for it to our paying for it. You may all know that billions of dollars were missing when Paul Bremer left Iraq, and no one seems to even care about it. Halliburton abuses and flaunts this money right in front of our troops who are clearly getting the raw deal. I wish more Senators would have stopped issuing Bush blank checks without more overseeing the spending activities. Why should they be trusted! That's the question!

Why would anyone in their right mind vote for Bush? Seriously?

Thank you for listening,

Marit
