1. There are 8 ways to Sunday that this could turn out bad for Palin ...

One of which is that there might not have been enough evidence for the former Prosecutor Branchflower to make the case against her, but there is no doubt plenty of evidence of how Palin and the McCain Campaign tried to interfere and dismiss the investigation.

Alaskans might be much less forgiving of Palin once they hear the despicable tactics Palin used to hide her wrongdoing.

I think she is toast as far as Alaskans are concerned....

2. I certainly agree.

People up here are very upset about the way this whole thing was handled, particularly with the influx of outside attorneys and operatives trying to shut down what was a unanimously bipartisan investigative effort. Particularly obnoxious is the interference of James Dobson's Liberty Legal Institute, who have absolutely nothing in the world to do with Alaska's internal politics. These people can't leave Alaska soon enough for me -- and I hope we never see them again, not even as tourists.

I am sure most Alaskans are probably well beyond irritated with that group.

8. Thanks for the links! Sounds like an investigation of the McCain Legal Team is in order...

I'll bet there are tax-exempt donated funds being used to foot the bill for this entire legal endeavor to dismiss the Troopergate Legislative investigation.

That would be evidence of a crime if proven.

5. Probably because the legislature isn't in session,

most of the legislators live around here as does Branchflower. Most likely a matter of convenience.
