19. McCain thinks he's acting smart...

...by not directly talking about it. He thinks he can keep trumpeting this issues until election. If he chooses to talk by himself than the issues is settled. McCain cannot bring it up anymore. This will not work with Barrack.

Barrack will not directly hold a press conference or confront McCain until the poll numbers indicate any success for McCain. So McCain is in a LOSE-LOSE position and Barrack is leading McCain straight into the ditch.
