I have a feeling the smears are going to shave a few points off Obama in red states such like Indiana. But keep in mind Indiana IS still in play (other polls show the race within MoE) and this is a VERY red state we're talking about.

5. Obama is still doing better in Indiana
Than McCain is doing in Wisconsin, PA, New Hampshire, and Minnesota :shrug:

Oh yeah and Virginia, New Mexico, Iowa, Florida and Ohio.

6. McCain is doubling down on negative ads there - and his new Ayers ad is starting tomorrow.
But then again, I doubt whether Obama would be wasting his precious time in Indiana if his campaign's internals didn't warrant it. :)
