FYI: The Dow and the Bail-Out Bill.

Alright a lot of people are asking what the government is doing when we gave them $700 Billion.

The whole thing is that the $700 Billion hasn't been utilized, implimented, or distributed yet. It went up to the Senate floor on Wednesday of last week and passed. Then it went on the House floor and passed by a strong majority.

Both of these actions was not distribution but to prop up confidence in the US market to appeal not only to investors in the US but all over the world and also build the confidence of the converged nations in this mess with us.

Now it wasn't until Monday of this week that the bill was passed by Congress which means that aspects of the bill won't be utilized until Tuesday of this week.

I believe even Obama said in his debate on Thursday that they haven't gone around yet to inacting the new plan created by the Bail-Out.

All in all...I have no clue what is going on. I really don't get the credit market to tell you the truth. I don't even know where to look in regards to the credit market. So as the economy gets shot to hell with trillions lost a day, the Billion Bail-Out may definitely have been way too little to late in acting to this situation.

I get the feeling this should have been really looked at during February when Bear Stearns collapsed.
