McCain spoke just now on MSNBC. The man is half-dead.
I mean, c'mon, the man is stumbling over his lines, correcting himself, pausing, stuttering and reading directly from notecards.

Probably the worst speech I've seen him give.

He is completely incoherent.

How could anybody think this guy is up to the Presidency?

1. He is litterally their last chance and they only have 3 weeks to go
sadly for them every time he and Palin open their mouths they lose more voters.

Now they have some more bullshit about Ayers out on their website hoping it will go viral. If it only goes viral in their base what good is it?

4. I wonder if they realize all this shit has already been played out ... in the primaries?
Edited on Thu Oct-09-08 12:19 PM by NYC Liberal
I mean it's almost like they think this is some new "bombshell" that they discovered.

It's very odd, honestly...getting all worked up over a story that's now close to (or maybe over) a year old and trying to make it their "October surprise."

26. I think their hedging their bets on the fact that not ALL states got to hear this stuff...
...during the primaries.

This stuff didn't start to come out until most states had already voted.

That's why they're going on this little national tour planting their seeds of bigotry and racism. Ohio yesterday (right?), Wisconsin today, Iowa over the weekend. They want to see where those seeds will sprout.

It's a sickening tactic.

5. can people not see that? I listen to GWB and wonder HOW anyone fell for that.
I think that the hardcore repubs/religious extremists view things and hear things through their own wishful filter. McCranky continues to astound me with this total lack of personality and vigor. He is infirm and lost. Not a dig on his age, but there ARE diseases that people get in advanced years that cause that.

Remember how we found out LATER that Reagan was already showing signs of Alzheimer's disease when he campaigned but it was hidden from us? McCranky is a tool.. he has agreed to do this, to be the vessel for the PNAC and military complex, in return for showing up his daddy and grandaddy. He knows he can't handle the job, but he's willing to turn it over to palin and the PNAC, just to get the title.

As I heard once.. McCain want's the title, Obama wants the job.

12. "McCain wants the title, Obama wants the job"
Possibly the best summary I've heard thus far.

The rate at which McCain is aging before our eyes is staggering. This is not normal campaign aging, something IS being hidden.

23. She's continually interrupting him to interject talking points he missed.
So the notion of a Palin/McCain ticket appears to be spot on.

Please - help him retire from politics soon.

19. They're going on a tour to plant the seeds of racism and bigotry and see where they'll take.
They're going to be in Iowa this weekend. Curious that they're trying to make a contest out of Iowa just now, no?

Now McCain's going on a pro-life rant calling Obama's abortion policy "radical".

So add that number to the racism and bigotry set list.

20. Unfortunately MSNBC didn't. Talking about adoption. "Bridget is the joy of our lives".
Lol. So that would be why she's never featured in family photos.

:eyes:

Interesting, Palin just interrupted McCain to interject some bullshit spiel about "partial-birth abortion".

Looks like we've officially got the Palin/McCain ticket now.

22. Nobody cares about abortion and adoption when their retirement account just lost 8%
It's ridiculous. these are red meat base issues that are a luxury of a moderately strong economy. They don't function as anything but fringe lunacy when the real economy goes south.
