Even if this poll is overestimating for Obama by a big margin, this is still astounding. :bounce:

I made earlier posts I thought Obama could possibly snag WV. Things are looking up , but MN is a bit disheartening.

has always been BLUE...except for Rove coming here and lying to folks about Gore/Kerry

Ya just do not threaten WV'ans Guns, Sexual identity or Bibles...and in that order too.Rove knew it and played it

17. Robert Byrd and Jay Rockefeller have endorsed him too... WVians love those guys, but still...
...I'm having a hard time seeing all the racist rednecks that I grew up around actually voting for a black guy. If it happens though, I'll be a lot more proud of my home state than I have been since I left.

7. ARG isn't a very good pollster, but that WVA number isn't entirely implausable...
Here are my 6 most recent WV Obama projections, allocating undecideds and adjusting for national poll number shifts:
48.35 50.30 52.06 52.19 47.77 47.35

10. ARG
Let's discuss these with a grain of salt(they always have Obama doing worse than he actully does)

MN-1 Point lead while others have have him larger

Mo-3 point lead for Mccain however If RAS has Obama up by 3 then things are looking good here.

Mt-Obama down by 5.This could mean things are tightening still I would prefer a better Pollster
saying It.

NH-Obama leads 52 to 43.I think we can say Mccain Is In serious trouble.

OH-Ahead by 3.All polls except RAS has him leading In Ohio now.

TX-They have a 19 point lead for Mccain. This Is possable still strange RAS has only a 9 Point lead
for Mccain.

WV-Obama leads 50 to 42.If true a upset Is looking like It Is possable there.

13. WV
there have been polls showing Mccain ahead there by just 4.Which If you call Nevada,Colorado,
Virginia,Florida, and Ohio as tossups you should call It a tossup too.

I have been thinking If there Is a total upset In a state for Obama which him winning a state
noone thought he could It would not be Georgia but West Virginia. It actully IS a democratic state
however many of the Dems are conservative Democrats. Before Bush It was only won by Republicans
during Landslide years.Stevenson won It In 52,Humphrey In 68,Carter keep It In 80,and even
Dukakis won It In 88.If Democrats come home and vote on the economy It could be won.

20. Uh oh. WVA must have heard about McLiar's plans for medicare
and social security.

That he wants to cut medicare by a trillion.

That he wants to TAX medical benefits for those lucky enough to get them.

That he's cutting so much and taxing so much so he can offer a tax credit (aka rebate) of $2500 to individuals ($5000 to families) to buy insurance !!
