The Daily Fix: A Compilation of Today's Polls and Where Things Stand - 10/8/08
I'm no longer going to use the RCP average because they include Zogby but not Kos. So instead, I'm going to be using the Pollster Average and my own average of all the polls (except Zogby and ARG), because Pollster sometimes forgets to update.

National Polls

Kos/R2K: Obama 51(-1), McCain 41(unchanged)
Gallup: Obama 52(+1), McCain 41(-1)
Rasmussen: Obama 51(-1), McCain 45 (+1)
Hotline: Obama 45(-1), McCain 44(unchanged)
GWU: Obama 49(-1), McCain 45(+2)
Ipsos: Obama 47(-1), McCain 40(-5)

Pollster Average: Obama 49.3(-.5), McCain 43.5(-.1)

HNMNF Average: 49.4, McCain 43.5

State Polls

Wisconsin
Rasmussen: Obama 54(+6), McCain 44(-2)
This is the third poll in a day to have Obama up ten points here. It seems to be that Obama is up by ten.

New Jersey
Fairleigh Dickinson: Obama 50(+3), McCain 37(-4)
NJ is coming home late like usual.

Georgia
Rasmussen: McCain 54(unchanged), Obama 45(+2)
It gets closer, but not close enough

Pennsylvania
Muhlenberg: Obama 50(+2), McCain 38(unchanged)

Minnesota
Rasmussen: Obama 52 (unchanged), McCain 45(+1)
Obama appears to be up big here when this is the low poll

1. Great analysis

I wish we had more information on Missouri. People forget that Obama won the Missouri Democratic primary. Plus with Mcaskill (sp?) on TV all the time, that's got to be helping him out a little.

Again, you do a great job.

You provide the most important information of anyone on this board... THE NUMBERS ON WHERE THE RACE STANDS!
