before you guard anyone of substance, you have to pull a lot of shit duty, like guarding garbage cans and such- for years. These arent guys (and gals) who just showed up last week and are now on Obama-duty. I have worked and trained with several members of Capital Police and Secret Service (earlier in the W years and Clinton years). These agents are pros and put the job ahead of personal politics. The funny thing is that most of them are so sick of politics that they dont really have an opinion about one candidate or another. They DO enjoy working with FUN principals and I bet that Obama is a fun guy to work around. From what I have heard, Chelsea is a great gal and the agents around her loved her to pieces, back in the day.
