Jut bought my airplane tix.... headed to FL to turn it BLUE!!!!

I'm headed down to FL for the election. I'm going to drive people to the polls for the Democratic "get out the vote" effort.

When I told my boss my plans, he paid for my airfare.

My brother will put me up while I'm there.

Now I just need to rent a car for election day.

I've been contimplating heading to Florida instead of Pennsylvania since I think FL will need more help now getting it blue than Pennsylvania (which is solid blue now).

Apparently Tallahassee is expecting a lot of people from out of state, even up here in blue Leon County. I've offered room for people to stay, though I don't have furniture, just space.

36. Wonderful! I went to New Hampshire Sept. 20-21, when things were looking bleaker

for Obama. Went with some Planned Parenthood folks to spread the word about McCain's horrible record on women's reproductive rights. Door knocked and phone banked. It was a great feeling, knowing I MIGHT have changed at least one vote! If nothing else, we got women stirred up in a bad way for McCain (we were contacting unaffiliated women voters between the ages of 18-55).
