I mean we almost took DU down waiting for that thing to come out, and now less than 48 hours later NOTHING, FROM NO WHERE.

What gives?

1. It will come up again
Personally, I think the choice to release the site and the video was to water down the effect of McSame/Failin's lil' William Ayers line of BS.

2. Using a web page was clever...
I think they did the right thing. Now that Obama is in the lead, they do not want to be perceived as dirt diggers. With the help of a web page they managed to disarm the attack, without looking like aggressors.

3. It was never supposed to be a media event. Obama just showed McCain
he has a loaded gun. He doesn't have to pull the trigger to get the desired result.

Obama and his campaign are brilliant.

5. A campaign having a loaded gun is not enough!
Republicans pull the trigger. Democrats usually do not. Guess who usually wins?

If Obama wants to win, he had better be different than Gore and Kerry.

We'll see what happens.
