Man that was offensive. The true McCain shown through at that moment, more than most of the other notable moments. But that really stuck out to me. Senator, would he not know because he's black? Because he's young? Why? How do you know he's not in a public policy MA program studying America's housing crisis?

Whatever it was that caused him to infer that Oliver, a politically involved young man, is a moron, is not a presidential quality. The fact that he asked the question should have given McSame a clue.

Senator McCain, I bet Oliver knows more than you do about Fannie and Freddie. You senile old racist prick. How 'bout you just let out that big fart instead of walking around like you're holding it in. Or is it a stick shoved so far up your ass you can't sit down for a minute? Plant it in your fucking chair while Barack preaches nicely to the well-informed brotha about how your deregulation policies screwed up his future as a taxpayer.

Hey! Can we get grandpa a prune juice?

1. Yeah, even if you leave race out of it,
insulting the questioner isn't a very good debate strategy. He did it twice in that reply. The first thing he did was LECTURE the guy on his wording by arguing that it wasn't really a bailout. Then he accused him of not knowing who F and F are.

Pretty amazing gaffes for someone who is supposed to be a seasoned politician. He really looked old and confused tonight. I think the age issue is back on the table for anyone who wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt on that one.
