Kerry taking command of the Iraq issue. What he says is true & resonates
with what most Americans feel about *. Kerry would not have unilaterally invaded Iraq. He might have wanted the authority to attack for leverage over Saddam, but unlike this maniacal administration, his use of that power would never have been reckless, arrogant, and basically insane. This is a no-brainer, and I am so thrilled that Kerry is offensively bringing this issue to the fore of the debate.

2. further, he would have taken the time to have a peace plan
in case they did have to go in, as a world not a single nation. but reality i could see how easily with that power he wouldnt have had to go in to solve issue of saddam. lets remember all, when bushie had troops sittin on kuwait border, saddam was sending people over to say, give, i give, lets make a deal, and bush said screw you. not many know or remember that

3. Yes, he was going in regardless.
Why anyone would equate Kerry's vote for giving a US president the authority to use leverage over Saddam and possibly attack under UN auspices, with the madness of King George is beyond my comprehension.

4. Rationality Vs Stubbornness
I like the meme.

It will work and the only counter the Repugs can come up with is "Kerry=rabid dog". (Oh yea that will work Karl. Just how many times have gone to the well with that one?)

5. Absolutely.
The issue isn't so much anymore why (we know that's bogus), but it needs to become HOW we invaded and botched the post-war planning.
