http://www.electoral-vote.com/

It's a 2pt gain in Indiana with Barack Obama making big steps into overtaking McCain's lead. Could we see Indiana go blue within a week?

Next 5 steps lined up for crossing over: West Virginia, Texas, Montana, Georgia and Mississippi!!

BTW, already crossing the line are these former Red States: Nevada, Colorado, Missouri, Iowa, Ohio, Virginia and Florida.

North Carolina is stradling the fence and the momentum as our Tar Heelers ready to jump off and join our team!

3. For some reason, cities, states, countries, cars, and boats are usually referred to as female...
...don't ask me why.

6. Well, MO's more of a "go with the winner" type than a true red state
(went for Clinton both in 92 and 96)...but it's still heartening to see us colored blue!

And come on, Indiana!

8. Obama's Put A Lot Of Effort Into NW Indiana & Marion County
See what happens when you give a little love, a bit of attention and money to areas Democrats avoided in the past? The 50-state strategy of Dr. Dean's along with the organizational skills of the Obama team are starting to show some results in the polls.

My biggest "wet dream" for election night is to hear that Indiana goes for Obama...that would be in the very first hour of counting...and then look at the befuddled looks on all the pundits. If this happens, the election gets called early for Obama and the party is on!

Yes...many are crossing over this year...and it's great to be able to go and reach them

Cheers...

:hi:

10. If Indiana is called for Obama on election day then we've won the election
You have to assume the first hour of the election are all the east coast states. And even though McCain will pick up some of the southern states he wouldn't claim anything Maryland or further North, and that's a big chunk of electoral votes.

11. It's Only Indiana & Kentucky
"Primetime coverage" starts at 7pm...both those states close and are the first to report. The other east coast states stay open later...usually at 8pm or later...thus if Obama wins solidly in Indiana, this will come out real fast and turn the corporate media on their pompous asses.

But...I'm not ready to start happy dancing yet...the GOOP are now caged, dangerous animals.

Cheers...
