Is the producer's chair of Morning Joe staffed by a monkey?

Honestly, who's in charge on that train wreck? Does this show change its perspective each hour? Do the producers just spin a wheel that determines what the approach will be for any given segment?

I was watching at 6 a.m. earlier this morning and they were being pretty rough on McCain re: "we're not even discussing the economy anymore" and Joe (petty little ass that he is) was ripping on Palin's fashion sense from her Florida appearance yesterday. All in all, a pretty negative perspective for McCain/Palin from MJ and crew.

Then, at 7 a.m. everyone does a full 180 on every POV expressed the previous hour to where Joe was praising Palin's fashion and saying only she could pull of white after Labor Day. Oh, and McCain's camp is now utterly fantastic in the way they boldly change the focus again just before today's debate.

Has MSNBC ever given a clear directive as to what Morning Joe's approach is supposed to be? You turn on Keith or Rachel you know what you're going to get. I don't think that exists on Morning Joe.

1. joe is in the throes of a manic depressive episode since...
it has become clear that mcsame and govenor moosetracks are done. He is particularly surley because the pubs may lose fla.

Isn't it fun to watch.

2. Morning Joe is like a horoscope. You get a little of everything, and walk away
remembering only the part you agree with.

That being said, man, yesterday Christopher Hitchens was on, wearing a Kurdistan flag pin.
Pat Buchanan and Joe "dead intern" Scarborough were very adoring of Hitchens.
Mainly because Hitchens has like, all this information he knows as opposed to just fluffy made-up opinions.
