Obama Has 277 EVs Outside the Margin of Error.
That is with NM, NH, and VA.

As his trend continues, his next states to add will be FL(27): 304 EVs
Then, OH(20): 324EVs
NV(5), CO(9), NC(15):353EVs

If things continue to go well after those turn, next in line is MO(11) and IN(11) and one from NE(1): 376EVs

It could very well happen.

5. Underdog will rescue Miss Polly Purebred ...
And Mighty Mouse will save the day. Boris and Natasha won't be able to finish their dastardly plan, and there's nothing Wile E. Coyote can order from Acme to stop us.

We will be able to fend off the evil Pessimistico! And the sky isn't falling, Chicken Little.

8. you know, that was the response of an jerk (polite term).
shoot the messenger and rely on cartoon cliche's for support of your questionable optimism. my statement was undeniably true and you just arrogantly dismissed it. we may win it. that would be good (not great. not a fan of obama). but if we don't, i will just laugh my ass off thinking of you.

3. Actually, it's 313 electoral votes if Obama wins only those states he's now leading by 4% or more.

7. RCP has Obama up an average of 4% in the polls. That's statistically significant.

6. It is fantastic
But remember that the polling firms MOEs are highly suspect and way to low, if I have to apply what little knowledge I have about this.

Afaik you would have to have a sample size of 1000 to get a 5% MOE on the standard 95% probability.

Many polls are not nearly that big.

Someone smarter than me is welcome to correct me.

But yeah, overall it is looking quite good. And the numbers on fivethirtyeight.com, which I consider the most thorough and dependable site on this, are definately backing it up.
