When does your middle name become an political attack line?
Edited on Mon Oct-06-08 02:54 PM by TheCoxwain
When it reflects darker truths about our society.

When we cross over from being 'fair and equal' to 'unfair and unequal'.

I sense the trepidation among democrats when Hussein is hurled out as an insult...Common people - It is a name that his parents lovingly gave him - How can we let the repukes get away with this...

It absolutely violates my sense of decency that there are so many openly bigoted people and politicians who openly exploit this bigotry...

Thanks for reading my rant

1. huh? Did someone just refer to him by his middle name?
Or are you worried they'll start to? Not quite sure what you're getting at.

3. Thanks for that rant...
Bush and the RWers helped by acting as if all Muslims are the same, and all "the enemy."

9. Because Bush talks and acts as if all Muslims are "evil-doers" which is why so many
people were for the invasion of Iraq-Saddam HUSSEIN, Osama bin Laden, same thing. That's what they'd have you think.

8. My middle name is the same as two kings of England
guess that makes me unAmerican and unpatriotic.

And my father's and grandfather's FIRST names are the same as the king of England who tried to keep the American colonies under English control. They must be unpatriotic too!

10. How about John SIDNEY McCain?
His middle name is a major city in a foreign country, one that is populated by the descendants of criminals and home to terrorists such as Ned Kelly. How much more unAmerican can you get? Nice try spelling it differently, John, but you're not fooling us.

14. John Sidney McCain III, with $520 loafers and too many homes to count,
wants Senator Obama's middle name to be an issue because more Americans know about Sadaam Hussein than about King Hussein of Jordan.

That, and the RNC slogan -- Country Club First
