I don't hate McCain, I hate how he seeks to bomb Obama
I never hated John McCain. I quickly realized that he is a very uncommitted, self centered, pleasure-seeking person. What drove me to look into his background is POWs I met and what they said about him in private and MIA families and how he treated them at Senate Hearings, convincing me that Hanoi is blackmailing him, or why would he go so far out on a limb denigrating them?

I never took note in the past of his "unbalanced" psycho-profile because I never thought him important enough to look into it. I also realized that one senator does not screw the MIA families alone; I realized that it is America that wanted to put the MIA families behind them, just as it did with the whole Vietnam War. Since the war ended a lot of good books have appeared. Alas, nobody cares; they just stick to their left or right prejudices and simply ALL consider it a wash because there were no consequences to losing it so-- ipso-facto-- it must have been totally unnecessary.

Fact is, the way Nixon ended it, made the end of the Cold War possible because it permanently split Moscow and Beijing and drove the Russians into self-destructive behavior. What few remember in that Jimmy Carter forced the Russians into bleeding themselves dry trying to maintain the wide edge they then had over the US in strategic weapons. Ronald Reagan simply maximized the Carter defense initiative. So, if anyone really made Soviet defeat in the Cold War possible, I would argue: Nixon- Carter did, all the rest of the presidents were on the edge contributing more or less to what Nixon and Carter did.

In that context, to me, John McCain was simply one of a few POWs who in captivity broke before anyone else did. I never held that against him because I had been under the Communists, both in Asia and Europe, so I know how they can work you, a lone helpless individual.

But what I did not know about McCain-- other than the hate a lot of his fellow Hanoi-Hilton roommates had against him and the hate the MIA families have against him-- is that he is a profligate un-serious self-centered and hedonically driven (when younger, of course) little man. A sort of Senator Stevens from Arizona!

None of this mattered to me-- NOT EVEN WHEN HE WENT TO SENATOR DASHEL AND ASKED IF HE COULD BE VP ON THE 2004 DEMOCRAT TICKET WITH KERRY-- whom I did dislike for his Vietnam activities but I deemed a Gift from God after four years of that criminal Bush Administration that in the 2000 campaign I supported heart-and-soul. Well, in 2004, my first switch from Republican to Democrat, I found myself totally on the losing side and for four years suffered severe despair for all those kids in Iraq and Afghanistan-- moms and dads all who would leave orphans and widows behind. I came to know that McCain was conned by the neocons, who abandoned him for Bush in the 2000 presidential campaign. I see him now trying to use them as they are trying to use him. I am very weary of his ever-present mentor Senator Lieberman, a neocon who pretended to be a Democrat so he could screw-up the Dems from within.

What gets me now about McCain is that his personal biography of choices is that he always self-centered sought to get layed and get rich in any way he could, only suffering regret for failing his father and grandfather AFTER THE FACT. So, when he tried to be an ADMIRAL, the Navy said: NO WAY, YOU'RE NOT FIT TO LEAD! So then he went into politics-- switching to a new wife that would help him in his quest-- hoping to become Commander-and-Chief that way. Alas, his ERRATIC switcheroo political "what's in it for me?" strategy got him nowhere. But he kept trying, moving from one gimmick to another. And, given that Bush destroyed the Republican Party, all he had to do was win the primaries against more accomplished men than him, but all of whom had no military record. THAT'S WHEN MCCAIN WENT FROM VICTIM OF WAR AS A POW TO SUPERHERO THAT SOMEHOW-- BY ACQUIESCING TO HIS "HOSTS" AT THE HANOI HILTON-- SUPPOSEDLY GOT THE "CHARACTER" NEEDED TO RUN THE COUNTRY...CHARACTER THAT NO ONE ELSE HAD BECAUSE HE ALONE OF THE POWS IS RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT. BY NOW, MOST OF THE OTHERS ARE OLD GUYS WHO DON'T WANT TROUBLE OR, A FEW, WHO, REPUBLICANS TO THE END, LET BYGONES BE BYGONES AND ARE SUPPORTING FELLOW FORMER POW MCCAIN FOR THE PRESIDENCY.

But the fact is that McCain is still the same personality as Bush. He is the same self-centered guy who irresponsibly goes tropistically to the light of power or whatever hedonic pleasures he can still handle, while seeking to overcome the disappointment in him that his dad felt.

Never forget, McCain is not out of the Navy because he wanted to be out. He's out because the Navy deemed him NOT leadership material. So he went to politics seeking to cash in on his POW years because in all his political life he did nothing worth mentioning.

So today, we face a life-long profligate old man who never had a serious pattern of determination in his life-- Bush too was a combat pilot (reserve)-- that is trying to claim the mantle of leadership in politics-- the very "leadership" mantle that the military denied him, EXACTLY BECAUSE IT DEEMED HIM SUCH A PROFLIGATE GUY *NOT* QUALIFIED TO LEAD MEN.

So this second debate, you are going to see the man full of devastating personal and medical secrets do what he did in Vietnam: drop bombs everywhere, hoping that the other side has nothing to shoot him down with.

McCain was not a heatable man. He was just a guy whom you watch, shake your head, and go back to your own business, otherwise making no impression one way or another. But McCain is a Bush-type personality seeking to become President exactly as Bush did: through lies and slander. The Palin selection is proof of how irresponsible he is. She's so hungry for power that on three occasions spoke of a "Palin-McCain Administration." That shows what a barracuda she is indeed, but a barracuda has a rather limited cranial capacity, not a very presidential volume in her skull.

So that's the issue voters face: IS THE PRESIDENCY A TROPHY FOR SCUMBAGS-- WHO OTHERWISE WOULD BE NO BETTER, NO WORSE THAN MOST PEOPLE GOING ABOUT THEIR BUSINESS-- WHO GATHER OTHER SCUMBAGS AROUND THEM TO CREATE A REAL SCUMBAG GOVERNMENT AS BUSH DID.....WE JUST HAD EIGHT YEARS OF THAT "ENTREPRENEURIAL REGINE-- DO YOU WANT MORE? DO YOU CARE FOR YOUR CHILDREN SO LITTLE AS TO SAY YES?

Most of you have no idea about MELANOMA STAGING and what that makes McCain's prognosis to be. So you have no idea how short will be McCain's presidency and how long will be Palin's....

I REALLY HATE POLITICS BECAUSE I HAVE SEEN IT, OVER AND OVER, SCREW GOOD PEOPLE OR TURN THEM INTO BAD. But I believe Obama is a VERY GOOD PERSON-- BOTH IN HIS SOUL AND IN HIS JUDGMENT and is in this race because he cares, just as Hillary cares. So the only reason I am getting involved into this tub of manure, the 2008 presidential campaign, is because I AM CONFIDENT OF OBAMA'S PURITY OF MOTIVE, HE BEING TYPICAL OF THE KIND OF AMERICANS WE EUROPEANS GREW UP ADMIRING. And I am opposed to McCain only because to me he is typical of the scumbag we suffered as president these eight years ( I supported Bush with all my heart and energy in 2000, so you can imagine how much awareness hurt!).....Worse still, McCain will die soon in his term to be replaced by a FISH brain who AT HER BEST can't out-think a fellow barracuda.

Believe me, otherwise, I would stick to the book I've wanted to write about the Vietnam War and the Vietnamese on both sides who fought it, before I die, and researching the molecular biology of diabetes. To me politics is like a spoon full of dog poop. But I force myself to eat it at this time because I love my kids and grandkids too much to leave them to inherit an Bush-->McCain (very short time)-->Palin wrecked America.

If McCain stuck to the issues, I wouldn't bring up what I learned from the Vietnamese Communists (my talk with them was translated and broadcast in the CIA FBIS Daily Broadcasts so a search will find it in English) and would instead continue my door to door discussion for Obama with neighbors. Like McCain, I have a short time left. UNLIKE MCCAIN, I'm spending the time I have left trying to protect those I leave behind with little more of an inheritance than the United States of America where their mom and I gave them birth....Otherwise, I just couldn't care less about politics. But the "ain't my kid going to Iraq" disconnect syndrome of so many Americans makes me sick, so I am doing all I can to make up for it, period.
