What awards in Tina Fey eligible for
Edited on Sun Oct-05-08 06:19 PM by RichardRay
based on her performances on SNL?

If there isn't something already in existence then something needs to be created. She is devastating, accurate and evocative. She may never work again unless Sarah Palin runs for some other office, so we need to honor her fully in this instance.

1. There are Emmy awards for guest starts on various programming styles, such as sitcom or variety.

2. ?
she has a hit show and made a movie this summer (not the best movie but she didn't write it so I give her a pass). I think she'll be okay.

3. I agree. But after her SNL bits
she may be inextricably linked to Sarah Palin. From now on everything she does will be seen in comparison to the perfection of her Palin schtick.

6. I agree
Palin should be worried that her only gig will be as a over the hill Tina Fey impersonator.

4. I think she should get the Medal of Freedom. She deserves it
more than some of the Bushies who have one.

7. she fooled a co-worker of mine...
I was watching the SNL VP debate skit at work and a fundie co-working saw it and said 'There's my girl!'. I told him that's Tina Fey spoofing Palin. I can't fault him, Tina is dead-on!

8. oh no
She may never work again unless Sarah Palin runs for some other office???

Come on, now, she's a brilliant comedic writer with a show of her own that has huge ratings. She'll be held in even higher regard than she already is, that little 3-time-this-year Emmy winner! She even got the Emmy nom for Outstanding Individual Performance in a Variety or Music Program this year. She'll WIN that sucker next year.

She's going to laugh all the way to the bank and it's a well-earned giggle!
