1. The same Bush operatives who beat Gore are working with McCain!
You may disagree that Bush beat Gore, but the person who ends up in the White House beats the other guy - like it or not!

We need to remember 2000 and make sure that never happens to our side again. Obama needs to be on the offensive, not defensive, and he needs to get out the vote, and if they try to steal the election he needs to fight for four years if that's what it takes!

No giving up this time!

9. A lot of people didn't vote for Gore because Lieberman was on the ticket.

2. Was Gore
ever that much ahead? I guess I don't remember him ever being that ahead so close to the election. Yikes.

8. After the first debate, I think.
But other than that, it was back and forth. Nothing like the consistent lead Obama has enjoyed.

6. 1960
was a very close election..less than a half percent as I recall. Probably neither candidate held an 8 point lead in Oct.

10. So of the two contests where someone led by 8% or more in Oct. and still lost,
one was Gore who blew it in the first debate and still won anyway, and the other was the biggest upset in the past century. So unless McCain pulls off a miraculous Truman-style recovery (which only Truman has done), he's toast.

11. A pollster said this morning that neither Gore nor Kerry hit 50% in the Gallup poll
and that Obama hitting 50% is a VERY good sign! Darn-I forget who it was.
