I think I figured out why I haven't seen many McCain yard signs.
I was at the Dixie Classic Fair today in Winston Salem. I went over to the republican booth to get a yard sign. I was getting it as a gag gift for a friend. Anyway they wanted $15 for it. Who the hell would want to pay $15 for that crap? I decided not to get it.

1. Man I would have given the dough....

I want one to "decorate" for my own yard, and I will not steal one from some dumb-ass.....guess I will have to go down to the repuke headquarters and ask for one.

btw, they are popping up like weeds up in NEOhio, but I am not worried, thinking OHIO will finally go blue this time, we will go way over the 5 points needed to keep them from stealing it.

5. What are you going to do to it?
I've had thoughts of writing with a black marker on the sign.

8. Oh, I have a few ideas......
most of which include adding my own messages about how it would be a bu$h third term, he is OLD as in G.O.P., or putting a large red cross over it. I am bringing my Obama Sign in at night to protect it; had a little sign taped to it all day yesterday: End Eight Years of Disgrace!

6. Driving up Rt 19 Greene County, PA I was amazed at the number
of McCain/Palin yard signs. Ironic since Greene is one of the poorest counties in PA as well. Very rural and considered part of Appalachia. I was encouraged when I crossed in to Washington County to only see on McCain/Palin sign in a yard and when I got in to the city of Washington, PA I even saw an Obama yard sign.

Also saw a ton of McCain/Palin bumper sticker, shirts, buttons at a shooting range in WV today - but I don't give a damn since I figure that's one state Obama doesn't have much of a chance in. I don't think Hillary could've won it either.

I've only seen a couple of McCain/Palin yard signs in my home county of Allegheny, a lot of Obama.

But there are fewer signs of either candidate compared to 2004 and the battle of Kerry/Edward vs. Bush/Cheney.

7. You know WV is always 49th or 50th in everything
good and 1st or 2nd in everything bad and yet they still vote for Repugs. You would think they would get the message after a while when they rank down with Mississippi year after year. They could be starving to death and the Repugs say the Democrats are going to take your guns and they will vote Repug.

10. The McCain campaign is a disorganized shambles
They are taking NC for granted, that's for sure. Our local McCain paid staffer is apparently an incompetent. McCain yard signs finally started showing up here.

I think they just now finally got them. Anyone who had one before must have gotten it online.
